Controllers (Solar)
Controllers (often called regulators) can control the charging of the battery banks for inputs from solar, wind and hydro. Many controllers also have load control to disconnect DC loads if battery voltage falls to a low level. Some controllers offer communications options for remote monitoring of system parameters.
