Clay Engineering offers consultancy services for remote infrastructure including power generation and distribution, water and wastewater services. We can provide studies and assesment of existing services, feasibility studies, detailed design and project supervision. Our consultancy work to date include various projects from wind power feasibility assesments through to design of total infrastructure services. Our speciality is in the design of infrastructure for remote locations that require specific attention to the problems associated in delivering services to remote areas. We have affiliations with other specialist consultants in the environmental, socio-economic and engineering fields that allow us to provide a complete solution.

We also specialise in Energy Audits for resorts. We use specialised power loggers to measure power demand and obtain a load profile (over 24hours minumum). The Energy Audit also involves the listing of all connected electrical equipment whereafter we can provide solutions to reduce power consumption. Solutions for supplementing diesel generator energy with renewable energy are also considered as part of the energy audit.
